The Central Data Management – AODB

Core of the system is a central database – AODB (Airport Operational Data Base) – where all master data like customer numbers, aircraft registrations, service data etc. is stored. Operational data, like flight records or information about ground handling activities, also run together here and are constantly updated.

For entering and managing general data, the topsystem application provides a variety of master data modules. These are structured thematically – e.g. the module Contracts is for contract-related master data, the module Flights for flight- and aircraft-related master data etc.
