The Table Change Monitor
The table Change Monitor enables the user to keep an eye on changes like aircraft registration or type, new position or gate in order to adjust plans if necessary.
The Change Monitor screen lists the flights of which one of the attributes A/C Registration, A/C Type, Position, Gate changed. No other flights will be shown.
The time window to be displayed is set by default from -1 hour to +12 hours with regard to the ST (default ST from/until when a user opens the search panel for the first time after login). The time window is not fixed and will thus not move automatically, but it can be manually adjusted in the Search panel, which then requires the user to press search again. Only changes with a change time less then 13 hours before ST are displayed.
The tracking of changes is stopped with BTD or CT (diverted out: assumed that CT is set). This triggers a deletion of the logged changes per flight (to avoid DB fill up). The change time refers to the time one of the four monitored attributes changed – other changes are not considered. All attributes which changed during the time frame (13 hours before ST) are highlighted. The default sort order is by change time.
If a data record is selected, the corresponding flight in the table Daily Flight Plan → Rotations can be accessed by clicking the button Jump To Rotations .
The follwing attributes are listed belonging to the flight which has been changed:
Date and time when the flight event was changed last |
Arrival/Departure indication; shows the leg of the changed flight event |
Flight number of the changed flight event |
Registration of aircraft of the flight event |
Aircraft type of the changed flight event |
Origin airport for arrival (IATA code) / Destination airport for departure (IATA code) of the changed flight event |
Scheduled time of changed the flight event |
Estimated time of the changed flight event |
Position of the flight event |
Gate of the flight event |
The remark “Automatically generated” (from table Aircraft) will appear and be highlighted. With Jump To Rotations the corresponding flight can be updated to contain the correct registration. |
If changes to one of these attributes are made for a flight event, a new row will appear in the table Change Monitor indicating the modified attribute(s) in yellow (recent changes) or in orange (older changes).
