The Table Users

In order to create a new user, open the table Users by clicking on the register images/download/thumbnails/286687892/2020-08-04_12_03_35-Window.png . By clicking the button Create a new object images/download/thumbnails/286687892/2020-08-04_12_22_02-Window.png in the task bar, a new line will be created in the table, where the following user data has to be entered:

  • ID:*

Identifier which is used for the login. It can consist of up to 20 characters and must be unique for each user.

  • Name:

In addition to the ID, the plain name for each user is registered in this field (up to 50 characters).

  • Password Valid Until:

Each user must be assigned a password of up to 20 characters, which has to be entered for the login.

  • User Max. Qt:

Define the maximum number of external users an airline administrator is allowed to create in the Airline Web Portal

  • Last Login:

Field displaying the last logging date of users. By first logging this field is empty, and therefore the user is also required to define a new password.The field „Last Login" doesn't exist in the product at the moment.
It will be examined whether it should be added to the product or not.

  • Remark:

Freely definable comment

  • Tab.-Conf.:

Marking allows a user to adapt the data display in the tables according to individual preferences with the Configure function (see chapter Customising the Table View).

  • Disabled:

All access rights are withdrawn from the user. Unmarking the checkbox activates the access rights again.

  • Billing:

Checkbox to define if this user should be displayed as contact person in the Billing module.

  • Default Station:

Default Station of the user

  • Default:

Set the complete table view settings (see chapter Customising the Table View) of this specific user as default for all other users. For all tables, the displayed columns and their width are shown exactly as the user marked as Default has set them. Once a user makes any images/s/de_DE/7901/0b59262db6a7cd3dbeee6d1b1416b77c01706b36/_/images/icons/emoticons/warning.svg individual settings in a specific table, his personal settings for this table are stored and the default settings are overwritten. Note that individual settings always overwrite defaults, (i.e. if a Default user is defined, all already existing settings of other active users remain unchanged).

  • Phone1+2:

Up to two alternative phone numbers can be stored for each registered user.

  • Email:

Email address of the user

  • Valid From*/Until*:

Assign a period of validity for the user access.

  • Fax:

Fax number for the user

  • Language:

Define the language of the user interface for the user. Note that this includes all language of the interface itself, but not the language the actual data is recorded in

  • Time Zone:

Timezone (UTC or local) in which the user will operate the system

  • Modified By:

Name of the last user who changed the data record (filled automatically)

  • Last Changed:

Date and time when the data record was changed last (filled automatically)

Data of already existing users can be changed by first getting a list of all users (click the button Search images/download/thumbnails/286687892/2020-08-04_12_23_23-Window.png ) and then marking the desired user entry by also clicking on it. Mark the data field you want to edit and modify the data by overwriting them. Remember to store your changes by clicking in another line or by using the button Save images/download/thumbnails/286687892/2020-08-04_12_24_42-Window.png in the task bar, or the hot key Ctrl + S.

  • In order to completely delete a user, mark the data row in the table and click the button Delete selected objectimages/download/thumbnails/286687892/2020-08-04_12_37_59-Window.png . Please note that this function always deletes a complete record set (i.e. line)!
