Remarks on Flight Times
When creating a flight in FlightOps, not only STs but also internal ETs (ETs with source "calculated") are created. They have the same values as the STs but change under following conditions:
The STA elapses without setting a BTA: In this case, the ETA/calculated is always equal to the current time.
The BKTA (Best Known Time of Arrival) is (e.g. due to delays) so close to the STD respectively ETD, that the MGTR (Minimum Ground Time of the Rotation) would be undercut: In this case, the ETD/calculated arises from BKTA + MGTR.
The ETD/calculated can never be earlier than the STD, i.e. for an earlier arrival no earlier departure time is calculated.
Remarks:
A reverse calculation of ETAs from STD, ETD or BTD is not executed.
Entering, modification or deletion of aircraft types or airlines with different MGTRs in flight records causes a new calculation and setting of the ETD/calculated (in case it is after the STD). Entering or modification of aircrafts in flight records also causes a new calculation/setting whereas the exclusive deletion of aircrafts in flight records does not yet lead to new calculation.
