The Table Contract -> Assignment Rules
This table can be used to define rules for controlling the automated contract assignment (see chapter Assignment of Contracts to Events).
After the contract has been completed, you can switch to the table Contract > Assignment Rules to define the required conditions.
This is done very similar to the definition of a rule for a price configuration. After you have created a new data record (i.e. line), open the pull-down menu Rules* to select the desired rule for the condition to be defined (e.g. flight number, airline, aircraft type etc.). After this, open the pull-down menu Operation and select the applicable mathematical parameter which is to be used with the rule (e.g. less than, equal, between). In case the operation is distinct (e.g. equal, more than), the corresponding value(s) are entered in the field Low Level. If multiple vales are required, these are entered comma-separated. In case the Operation relates to a range of values (e.g. between), the boundary values are entered in the fields Low Level and High Level respectively.
The column Group is used to define AND/OR clauses. This field can be used to enter numerical values. Entering identical numerical values for multiple rules records (i.e. lines) connects these to combine their conditions. All conditions thus defined have to apply in order for a contract to be assigned. Conversely, this means that different values in the field Group act as an OR condition. This means that only one of the rules has to apply for the contract to be assigned to the flight event.
Example: You want that each flight event with one of the flight numbers "LH 777, LH 778 LH 779" is assigned a specific contract.
In a first step, you create a new data record and select the rule Flight Number from the pull-down menu Rules*. Then select the mathematical operation in from the corresponding pull-down menu. Finally, enter the flight numbers (comma-separated) in the field Low Level.
Following data fields are available in the table Contract -> Assignment Rules:
|
Set automatically. Contract reference as defined at the contract header. |
|
Rule to be applied as a condition (see description above). The entries available for selection are defined in the master data module Price Formula and include variants such as Flight Number, Airline Id, Block Time, Day of operation etc. The rules available here are customized in cooperation with topsystem and can thus not be listed completely here. |

Mathematical operation is selected which is to be applied to the selected rule |

Numerical values. Entering identical numerical values for multiple rules records (i.e. lines) connects these to combine their conditions. All conditions thus defined have to apply in order for a price configuration to be valid. Conversely, this means that different values in the field Group act as an OR condition. This means that only one of the rules has to apply for the price configuration to be valid. |
