The Table Parking Positions

In this table data about the local airport's parking positions can be recorded. Parking position data is used to define and classify available aircraft parking positions (often also called Stands) at an airport. The position type can be used for the assignment of resources and pricing for parking procedures.

Following data is recorded for each position:

As parking positions are station-specific, this column is only shown if you are logged in under the holding. In this case, the station where a position is located is displayed here.

  • ID:*

Unique identifier of the parking position

  • Name:*

Name of parking position in plain text

  • Remark:

Freely definable comment

  • Type:*

The parking position type. The available types are:

  • GA, Remote

  • Hangar

  • Remote

  • Special use

  • Terminal

  • Unplanned parkposition type (resource view)

  • Push-Back:

Flag to mark positions for which a push-back is compulsory

The Table Parking Positions -> Parking Position Unavailability

This table is used to administer potential parking position unavailabilities, for example due to cleaning spillings or painting works.

Parking position as taken from the selected master

  • Valid From/Until*:*

Begin/End of parking position unavailability

Freely definable comment

Name of the last user who changed the data record (filled automatically)

The Table Parking Positions -> Aircraft Types Allowed

This table is used to define the aircraft types, which are allowed to be parked at this position.

  • Station:

Station to which this entry applies.

  • Parking Position:

Parking position as taken from the selected master

  • Aircraft Type:*

ID of the type of the aircraft. The aircraft types available are defined in the master data module FIS, table Aircraft Type.

  • ICAO:

International 3-letter code for the aircraft type taken from the master data module FIS, table Aircraft Types

  • Aircraft Class:

Class of the aircraft. The classes available in this list are defined in the master data module FIS, table Aircraft Class.

  • Valid From/Until*:*

Begin/End of validity period for allowing this aircraft type at this parking position

  • Remark:

Freely definable comment

  • Modified By:

Name of the last user who changed the data recorded (filled automatically)

  • Last Changed:

Date and time when the data record was changed last (filled automatically)

This table is used to define the aircraft classes, which are allowed to be parked at this position.
