Function Buttons
These buttons are used to execute certain functions and to edit data in the active software module. The functions described here are available for all modules.

Create a new object: Creates a new data object (i.e. a new line) in the table. |

Duplicate object: If a data object (i.e. line) is marked in a table, it can be duplicated by using this button. This allows you to create new objects, which are almost identical to already existing records (e.g. it allows you to copy an existing contract for a new customer). Before the new data can be stored, at least one change has to be made. |

Store pending data: Changed data is automatically stored when you leave the marked table line by switching to another line (not if you simply switch to another module!). In order to save changes securely at any time, use this button. |

Search: Use this button to search data according to the filter rules you defined in the Search panel. If you use this button without having made any filter selections in the Search panel, all available data will be shown in the currently active table. |

Reset all search rules: This button is used to reset all the search rules which have been defined in the Search panel. After this, you can either perform a new search without or with newly defined search rules. |

Clear selection: Removes the displayed data from the active table (only the display is removed, no changes to the actually stored data are made). |

Copy to clipboard: Clicking this button copies the complete table including the header to the Windows clipboard. This function allows to easily exporting data to spread sheet applications (e.g. MS Excel). To enter the copied data to an external program, the standard Paste function is used. |

Delete selected object: This button is uses to delete a complete data record (i.e. line). Important: This button irreversibly deletes a complete data record! In order to delete the contents of an individual cell, mark it and use the Del button from your keyboard. |

Jump To…: If a flight record is selected, you can use this button to jump to the corresponding flight data in dedicated tables (available in modules Message Clearing, Flights, Services Flights, Billing). |
Please note: Some modules feature additional, specific function buttons which are only displayed when the corresponding module is activated. These buttons are described in the appropriate chapters of this manual.
